Situated in eastern Ventura County, Fillmore has sat quietly for decades, content to be home to the Fillmore & Western Railway. The pandemic was a big catalyst for a change to the city. During the 2010's many new homes were built south of highway 126, instantly transforming an agricultural center into a suburban communit.
The changes continue. Comstock Homes has added over 100 new homes with Heritage Grove on the east end of the city. Grocery Outlet has opened a store at the west end. An artisan brewery will open in the middle. Here comes the new!
